Instrument interfacing
Results flow from your analysers
Install the Automedic Lab Bridge agent on a lab PC connected to the analyser. Results reach Automedic matched by sample barcode, with no retyping.
- Register each instrument and copy its API key into Lab Bridge
- ASTM and HL7 analysers, over TCP or serial
- Map instrument codes to test parameters, with unit factors

What is LIS (laboratory information system) software?
An LIS runs a lab's work from registration and billing to sample collection, result entry, verification and report delivery. Automedic's LIS is lab software made in Pakistan. It works on its own for diagnostic labs, or as the lab module inside a hospital.
Can Automedic connect to our analysers?
Yes. Lab Bridge, Automedic's instrument interface, receives results from analysers (ASTM / HL7 style messages) and matches them to the sample barcode, so results are not typed by hand. The pricing page lists what each lab plan includes.
How do QR-verified reports work?
Every final report carries a QR code. Scanning it opens the verified copy of the report from Automedic, so patients and doctors can confirm the report is genuine and unedited.
Can we set our own normal ranges?
Yes. Each test and profile carries its own normal range and comments, and you choose the lab standard (for example WHO or default adult ranges) your lab follows.
Can we give discounts and print our own receipt format?
Yes. Set a lab-wide or per-branch discount percentage, choose a receipt template and write your own receipt footer and terms.
Can reports be sent on WhatsApp?
Reports can be printed and downloaded as PDF today, and are emailed to the patient automatically once results are verified. Direct WhatsApp delivery is on our roadmap.
